It's the last full week of February and there's about a month to go before spring dings on your calendar.  Winter can be a challenge to keep the little ones happy and active.  There are a number of kid friendly things happening inside at area libraries and other locations.  Here are a few that caught my eye:

>  Vestal Public Library -  Preschool Story Time and Craft Program for 3-5 year olds takes place every Tuesday and Friday through March 4th  at 10:15am, 11:45am and 1:30pm accompanied by a caregiver.  The program lasts for about an hour and features stories, music and crafts.  Register by calling the Youth Services Department at 607-754-4243 or email ve.kelsey@4cls.org.

>  Your Home Library in Johnson City - presents Peter Pan Fairy Night from 6:30-8:30pm on Thursday February 25th.  The Little Read book "Peter Pan", by James Barrie will be the themed book followed by the crown and a wand, find the fairies hidden around the Children’s Room, and play “Pass the Treasure.”  Space is limited and registration is required.  Stop by the library or call 607-797-4816 for more information or to register.
