Sergeant Joey Johnson of Indiana, a veteran who served in Afghanistan, pulled off an amazing surprise for his bride on their wedding day that left her and all of their guests in tears.

Joey was paralyzed in 2012 from a motorcycle accident shortly after returning from Afghanistan and has been bound to a wheelchair ever since, but when his bride Michelle walked into the ballroom, he was standing there – waiting for their first dance.

Joey's friends designed a special harness attached to ropes and pulleys and were able to keep him standing upright so that he could dance with his wife. Michelle said, "It was so amazing to be eye to eye with him again and such a dream come true.
