Owego Boil Water Advisory

Thousands of residents in and neat the town of Owego are being asked to continue to boil there tap water until further notice.

The boil water advisory affects the following roads: Shady Hill Road in the area of Perry and Eland Drive, Laine Court, Jennifer Lane, Lori, Rebecca, Cara and Megan Drive, Beth Drive, the intersection of Laine Court and East Main Road to Route 434 and the intersection of East Main Street and Route 434 to Old Owego Road are affected, along with the Tioga Terrace areas of Glann Road to Alpine Drive, Highland, Susan, Overbrook and Frederick Drive, Brookside, Griffin Drive, Tioga Boulevard, Boland, Riverview and Terrace Drive along with Brown Lane, Cooper Drive, Bowlen Road and Crescent Drive and the Toby Road and Stephens Road trailer park areas.

Officials would not comment on the reason for the water advisory.  You should continue to boil tap water in the Owego are until the advisory is lifted.
