A Binghamton man is facing three felony counts after he allegedly used someone else’s information to open an account with New York State Electric and Gas.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 57 year old Timothy Rypkema is accused failing to pay $1,5000 dollars on the account, stealing services from NYSEG.

Rypkema is charged with grand larceny, falsifying business records and identity theft.

He’s been ordered to appear in Town of Union Court at a later date.
