Mom Leaves Baby in Car With a Note

A photo was circulating the internet yesterday showing a baby locked inside a car along with a note telling people walking by to call the mom if there were any problems.

According to witnesses in New Zealand, the sleeping baby was spotted inside a parked car near a supermarket. "[The note] was written from the baby's perspective," one witness said. "and it said, 'My mum's in doing the shopping, call her if I need anything', and it had the cellphone number."

Two people called the mom and waited by the car until she showed up. Police said they don’t intend to charge her with any crime because no one has made a complaint or come forward with information.
