Modified Season Opener At 5 Mile Point Speedway

It's time to get down and dirty.....Dirt Racing that is. The testing and the tuning is done, it's time to do it for real in the dirt at 5 Mile Point Speedway.

Five Mile Point Speedway get their season underway on Saturday. It's the 64th season opener for Modifieds. Mike Colsten will begin the defense of his 2013 title.  Joining the Modifieds wil be the Sportsman, Street Stocks, IMCA Modifieds, Lightning Cats, Figure 8's and Factory Stocks.

Race time is at 6 with practice beginning at 5:05. Pit gates will open at 3 and grandstand at 4.  Kid's 12 and younger are admitted free of charge in the grandstand area.  To find out about this weekend and other activities, go here. As they say, "It's not racing until there's dirt in your beer."
