It's not every day that the little town of Endicott is visited by golf legends such as Bernhard Langer, Fred Funk, Kenny Perry, and John Daly. And it's certainly not every day that Keith Urban rolls into town.

With the return of the DICK'S Sporting Goods Open and a Friday night concert by Keith Urban, Endicott officials are bracing for record crowds and traffic snarls. Officials say they've been hard to do all they can to make this a positive experience for spectators and they've got plans in place to try to keep traffic moving as smoothly as possible.

Whether you're just traveling through or will be attending the DICK'S Sporting Goods Open, plan accordingly. The Endicott Police Department issued a statement on their Facebook page reminding concert attendees not to use their GPS devices to get to the golf course for Friday night's concert, "Instead, please follow the NYS DOT Signs. This will ensure traffic flows safely as traffic patterns will be different." The statement continues, "After Friday’s concert, both lanes of Main Street will operate one way heading eastbound from Grippen Ave. to Nanticoke Ave. If you are driving, please make appropriate arrangements after the concerts to properly navigate this traffic change."

On Friday (August 16th), Industrial Park Boulevard will be closed all day and starting at 12:00 pm, sections of Main Street will be blocked off. Beginning at 2:00 pm, Main Street will be reduced to two lanes of westbound traffic from Nanticoke Avenue to Grippen Avenue. Eastbound traffic will be prohibited.
