Lending A Helping Hand: Matthews Auto Group And Toys For Tots

It is that time! Time to spread the holiday cheer with kids right here in the Southern Tier. Matthews Auto Group are teaming up with Toys for Tots to make this Christmas extra special for our area kids.

They have locations all over the Southern Tier, including Matthews Chevy and GMC, Matthews Import Center, Matthews Nissan and Planet PreOwned (you'll find them on Vestal Parkway), and Matthews Ford of Norwich (in Norwich, obviously!).

Matthews is teaming up with the Binghamton Police Department, Marines, and Susquehanna Country Interfaith to collect new, unwrapped toys in December. Matthews has drop-off vehicles in their showrooms and it's waiting to be filled with new, unwrapped toys. But they can't do it alone – they need your help!

Toys for Tots: Spreading Joy Since Forever!

Toys for Tots is like Santa's little helper all year round. These amazing folks are part of the United States Marine Corps Reserve and have been brightening up children's lives for a long time.

They collect new, unwrapped toys and make sure that every child gets a chance to experience the magic of the holiday season. It's not just about the toys either,  it's about creating memories and giving a little boost to families in need. Toys for Tots is bringing communities together and shows everyone the true spirit of generosity. We definitely need more of that in the world.

You can make a difference in a child's life by swinging by any of the Matthews Auto Group locations. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy and brighten up a child's day that could last them a lifetime. It doesn't need to be the biggest or fanciest either. Let's show them that love and kindness are what the holiday season is all about!
