Jay’s Monday Jams (Middle of the Week Edition)

Another week and another edition of Jay's Monday Jams. Now this past Monday and Tuesday I spent my time sleeping and eating, so the jams are a little late this week.

First up is a song I legitimately can't stop listening too. Chris Janson is known for his partying songs like Fix A Drink. But, this song "Drunk Girl" is a masterpiece. It also proves you can't judge a song by its cover. Chris kind of throws us a curve ball in this jam.

There is no doubt that I love Eric Church. The man can do no wrong. I even saw someone call him country music's Bruce Springsteen, and I can't disagree. "Chattanooga Lucy" is off Eric's 2015 album "Mr. Misunderstood" which is Mr. Underrated,and is a straight up dancing tune. A little soul, a little honky tonk, and a driving beat make this jam incredible.

He's the king. He is country music. He "retired" from country music and still sold out a whole bunch of shows in Las Vegas. My throwback jam of the week is George Strait and "Troubadour."
