HR Managers Spill the Dirt on Weird Job Interviews

Have you ever had an interview that went so horribly wrong that you wished you could curl up under the covers and have a do-over on a different day? Well, this should make you feel better.

Career Builder collected some of the strangest interview moments from over 2,000 human resource managers, and I'll tell you what, these are awful:

• One candidate kept repositioning and fidgeting with his duffel bag, which turned out to have a tiny dog inside.
• Another interviewee brought about 50 pens and markers with him and spread them out on the desk of the person asking the questions.
• One candidate maintained the same yoga position throughout an entire interview.
• Another asked if they could offer religious advice to other employees if hired.
• One hopeful said he left his last job because he "kicked someone's butt that really needed it."
• One person tried to use a smartphone to Google the answer to a question from the interviewer.
• And finally, after introducing himself by name, a candidate said "... but you can call me Tigger, that's the nickname I gave myself."
