How Much Will It Cost To Attend A Wedding This Year?

And you thought planning a wedding was expensive!  Just attending someone’s big day can put you in the hole.  

Between pre-wedding celebrations, transportation, accommodations, gifts and attire, the average price of going to a wedding is now $539- that's up $200 from last year.  And that’s nothing compared to actually being in the wedding- bridesmaids are typically more than $1,300 in the hole.

Unfortunately, because of how expensive it is to not only attend, but be in a wedding, more and more people are turning down invites to be part of their friend's big day.
