Hawk Polar Bear Plunge Winners Brave Cold Vestal Temperatures

Friday was one of the coldest days of the week but that didn't stop 5 brave listeners hoping to win a pair of 3 day passes to the Hawk's Taste of Country Music Festival, the popular music/camping fest that attracts thousands of music fans from all over the Northeast and beyond, to see the likes of Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Toby Keith and a bunch more.

21st Century Pools, Spas and Hearth on the Vestal Parkway was kind enough to again host the festivities outside their spacious showroom in Vestal.  Knowing the outside temperature would be in the mid teens, owner Ken Jayne made the event comfortable by providing contestants with some nice extras this year, including a warm hot tub following the plunge.  "The sun definitely is helping this year."
