I guess since I went vegan I could say I feel happier. I do however wonder if its because the processed snack foods tend to make you feel kind of tired because your body has to work so hard to digest that stuff. I'm sure it has something to do with it however, the University of Warwick, England asked 12,000 plus people make a note of the food they ate as well as jotting down how they were feeling mentally before and after they ate.

Turns out, each and every one of those people felt happier and better after each serving of fruit and veggies, and it didn't level off until the 8th serving! So that's the magic number. Eat 8 servings for the ultimate maximum in happy! Plus over a decade, all those plants will help prevent cancer!

The researchers say that if you switch your diet up and do the fruits and veggies thing for two years you'll notice the change. It's the mental health difference between getting your dream job and being unemployed. That's crazy!
