Former President George H.W. Bush Shaves Head Bald to Show Support for Child With Leukemia
It's amazing how easy it is to love our former presidents no matter what you thought of them when they were actually in office. Especially when they do stuff like this.
Former President George H.W. Bush is 89 years old and just completely shaved his head to show support for a two year old boy with leukemia named Patrick.
Patrick's dad is on Bush's Secret Service security detail and Patrick is currently undergoing chemo to treat his leukemia, so he's bald and all the members of Bush's Secret Service team shaved their heads to support him. So former president Bush decided to go bald to support him too.
George and Barbara Bush lost their first daughter to leukemia 60 years ago. Her name was Pauline. She was their second child, and she died at age four from leukemia.
