There's some good news if you've ever actually tried to read Facebook's privacy guidelines. The company has revamped them to make them easier to understand.

Facebook rolled out a page called Privacy Basics on Thursday. It's an animated tutorial on controlling what other people see on your profile and what you see on your page and includes topics like "What kinds of information do we collect?” and “How can I manage and delete information about me?”

Even though Facebook has made their policy guidelines, they haven't actually made any changes to the way they sell our data to advertisers. They retain the right to use our data to target ads both on the site and other places on the Internet.
