UPDATED August 11th: According to organizers this event has been postponed to Thursday August 14th from 5:30pm-8:30pm in the Story Garden due to weather concerns.

Where can you find family fun for a good cause on a Tuesday night here in the Southern Tier?

On August 12th from 5:30 to 8:30pm at The Discovery Center Storybook Garden you can win prizes, enjoy live entertainment, and participate in arts and crafts, all while benefiting The Discovery Center as well as Mom’s House.

Both The Discovery Center and Mom’s House are celebrating anniversaries this year (their 30th and 26th, respectively – still kind of young if you ask some of us!), and after years of supporting and caring for children and families in the Binghamton area, they deserve a party as big as their impact on the community.

Mom’s House is a non-profit organization that provides free childcare for single parents looking to continue their education, and as The Discovery Center works to encourage education from a young age, these two local organizations are the perfect pairing for a night of fun and family.

Admission is $5 per person and children under the age of two are free. We’re all kids at heart and all part of a larger family as a community, so come out and show your support!
