Demolition on Court Street and Riverside Clears the Way for New Binghamton Business

All this time you've been traveling down the Vestal Parkway to get that famous root beer float from A&W and now it will be alleviated soon! Good news - we are getting a brand new A&W in Binghamton on Court Street!

I had the chance to speak to Eric Thompson of Atlantic Environmental Consulting when I stopped by the work site earlier today. A total of 3 dilapidated houses and old businesses, including an old deli, will be removed.

These old structures are basically moderate safe houses for drug deals and other criminal activity as well as places that harbor vagrants.

The install of this business will bring some employment to the area and make the Court Street area look less abandoned and more like a city street.
