Have you seen the video floating around social media for the company that sells white stain repellent pants? My teen-aged sister wants a pair desperately, but the reviews on them are pretty mixed. This is probably my favorite test video because most of the videos I've watched only show what happens to the pants when drink type liquid is poured on them, not liquids like pasta sauce.

Clearly, the pants are not stain resistant, but they do seem to do a good job of repelling liquids and anyone who's ever sipped a cup of coffee while wearing white knows that's pretty much asking for disaster.

A new company in Amsterdam claims that they've gone beyond just creating something that repels liquids. They've created a cotton dress shirt and they say the shirt is completely odor, stain, and wrinkle repellent.

According to Vice, the shirt was created by Labfresh and made with a special technology that prevents fluids and bacteria from getting into the fibers of the fabric, making it easy to wipe away the spilled stuff with water.

Labfresh says that they've tossed all sorts of things at the shirt from ketchup to Sriracha, red wine to oil and nothing sticks. This is a clumsy dribbler's dream come true. I don't know about you, but I'd definitely buy a shirt like this.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait to get our hands on this goodness because the shirt hasn't gone to production yet. Labfresh is still in the money raising phase and they're doing it through Kickstarter. The company's goal was to raise just under $16,000 but they've surpassed that by over $40,000 so it'll be interesting to see how quickly they start rolling out these shirts once the campaign ends.

It looks like right now the shirt is just designed for men, but I'd rock a men's shirt if it meant not having to worry about coffee stains. I'm the master at missing my mouth and it usually happens when I'm somewhere fancy where coffee dribble is completely unacceptable.
