First a ridiculous war was declared on Christmas, and sadly, that war has expanded to Easter.

Edmonds, Washington is a suburb just outside Seattle. It's got a population of around 40,000. So why are they ground zero for the war on Easter?

Every year on Easter, Edmonds holds an Easter Egg Hunt. But their Easter Egg Hunt will only be called an Egg Hunt. The city said they decided to drop "Easter" because they wanted people of all faiths to feel welcome at their "egg hunt."

One British woman in Edmonds was pretty upset about that. She said quote, "I think it's kind of sad. I come from England, [where] Christmas is Christmas and Easter is Easter."

None of the Easter Egg Hunts scheduled for our area have been re-named. As a matter of fact, several are planned for this weekend. See where they’ll be held here.
