Love Maple? If you said “yes,” then Marathon is the place to be April 5th and 6th for the 44th Annual Central New York Maple Festival!
The 44th Annual Central New York Maple Festival takes place April 5th and 6th from 9am-5pm on Saturday and 9am-4pm on Sunday. Parking and admission are free and the festival takes place on the streets of the village of Marathon, Marathon Civic Center and Pavilion, gymnasium of the Marathon school, cafeteria of the Marathon School, Mason’s Hall. American Legion Hall and the restored Railroad Station.
At the Maple Festival, you’ll enjoy maple products, delicious foods, a juried craft show, historical exhibits, demonstrations, displays of quilts, helicopter rides, wild west show and so much more at this festival that’s become a traditional spring time event in Marathon.
In addition to hot, steamy pancakes served up all day, you can also chow down on maple pulled pork sandwiches, maple slathered elephant ears, maple flavored coffee tea, maple popcorn and more!
Marathon is centrally located-just 35 miles from Binghamton, 55 miles from Syracuse, 30 miles from Ithaca and 9 miles from Greek Peak. To find the festival, take Interstate 81 to exit 9.
