The Broome County Sheriff's Annual Blood Drive will be held this year in memory of slain Deputy, Kevin J. Tarsia.

Tarsia was a Deputy Sheriff for the Broome County Sheriff's Officeand was killed on July 4th, 2002 in Kirkwood after encountered suspects from a burglary at a firearms store. Deputy Tarsia had served with the Broome County Sheriff's Office for 13 years.

The blood drive is open to the public and will be held on Thursday, June 25th from 12pm-5pm at the Broome County Sheriff's Office Academy Classrooms. The classrooms are located at 155 Lt.
