Everyone thinks being a music superstar is sexy.  When I've been lucky enough to have one on one conversations with the country stars, I've found these people candidly admit it's a very lonely life.

When you think about it, you go from city to town, not sure where you or even what day of the week it is sometimes.  Homemade food is usually not an option so they grab what they can, usually after a show and meeting with the fans and with a few exceptions, they are usually hundreds to thousands of miles away from their family and loved ones.

But is it really worth it?  If you ask The Band Perry's Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry, they most likely would say it is worth it.  The 'Don't Let Me Be Lonely' singers love what they do, writing great new music and meeting their many loyal fans.

The Band Perry gives us a special glimpse of life on the road, Perry style, with their fantastic new video that just debuted.  Take a look and see if you don't agree that road life agrees with this trio.

The Band Perry is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year, a title they lost to Little Big Town last year.  Best of luck to all of this year's CMA nominees and make sure you watch the awards Wednesday night 8-10pm on ABC-TV and listen live on 98.1 the Hawk.  Immediately following the show, Jeremy from Taste of Country Nights will take you backstage for a special visit with the night's winners.  You can hear both on 98.1 the Hawk and listen live on 981thehawk.com
