Authorities say they are trying to locate 26-year-old Mike Navarro Jr. He is described as a "person of interest" in an October 8 shooting incident on Susquehanna Street.

Detectives hope to interview Navarro in connection with the shooting of 35-year-old Naheen Spencer.

Police already have charged 28-year-old Marcell Harris of Binghamton with second-degree murder in Spencer's death. Harris turned himself in to investigators four days after the shooting. Police say the attack happened in front of Victoria's Cafe.

Authorities say Navarro may still be in Broome County but he also has ties to Massachusetts, Virginia and Florida.

Navarro previously has lived on Broome Street on Binghamton's South Side and on Watson Boulevard in the Town of Union.

Navarro is descrbied as black with a medium build. He has a tattoo of praying hand on his right arm.

People with information on Navarro's whereabouts may contact the Binghamton Police detective bureau at 607.772.7080.
