Big Boost in Valentine Sales Expected This Year

Every year, the National Retail Federation releases info on how much money they expect people to spend for Valentine's Day and according to their numbers,  people are pretty psyched about Valentine’s Day this year.

The average person celebrating Valentine’s Day this year is expected to spend $142.31 on candy, flowers, and other stuff which is up from $133.91 last year.

Total spending for Valentine's Day is expected to reach $18.9 billion – the most ever recorded.

So if you’re tired of your guy paying more attention to football than he has been to you, hang tight! The hearts and flowers are coming.
