Best Places in America to Celebrate Oktoberfest
It’s finally here and we are so excited. It’s the Parlor City Oktoberfest this Saturday from 11 am – 8 pm at Mountain Top Grove on Hance Road in Vestal. We are celebrating with authentic German food and desserts. There will be something for everyone young and old. Get your tickets now and kids 13 and younger get in free.
WalletHub did a study to find the best and worst places to celebrate Oktoberfest. Tops on the list would be Munich but since you probably aren’t going to Germany this year, they decided to focus on American cities.
It was based on things like beer gardens, German restaurants, sausage prices and walkability. The number one spot was Cincinnati followed by New York City. Four of the top ten worst cities were in California including San Bernardino, Chula Vista, Riverside and Fremont.
You can see the complete list of 100 cities here.
In our opinion, Binghamton is the best place to celebrate and maybe next year it’ll make the list, now that the Parlor City Oktoberfest is here (this year, next year and beyond).
Don’t miss out and get your $10 tickets now at our studio – 59 Court Street, Binghamton or at Mountain Top Grove, $11 below or $22 at the door on the day of the event.
Also don’t forget that there aren’t any ATM machines at Mountain Top Grove, so be sure to bring cash with you and we’ll see you there.
