Best Places in America to Celebrate Oktoberfest

It's finally here and we are so excited. It's the Parlor City Oktoberfest this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m at Mountain Top Grove on Hance Road in Vestal. We are celebrating with authentic German food, musical entertainment, kids activities and a lot more. There will be something for everyone young and old so get your tickets now and kids 12 and younger get in free.

WalletHub did a study to find the best and worst places to celebrate Oktoberfest. Tops on the list would be Munich but since you probably aren't going to Germany this year, they decided to focus on American cities.

It was based on things like beer gardens, German restaurants, sausage prices and walkability. The number one spot went to New York City, Portland followed by Cincinnati (which was number 1 last year.) Baton Rouge, Memphis (we still love your BBQ) and San Bernardino were at the bottom of the list.

In our opinion, Binghamton and the Parlor City Oktoberfest is the best place to celebrate and maybe next year it'll make the list....hint hint.
