The title “Daddy’s Little Princess” has become so overused these days that it hardly means anything more than “Daddy Has Himself a Spoiled Little Girl and Probably Just Wants to Watch Football in Peace, So Yes, You Can Be a Princess.”

But get this – Jeremiah Heaton of Virginia took his little princess seriously when the six-year-old girl asked to become royalty, searching online for unclaimed territories around the world until he stumbled on an 800-square-mile patch of desert bordering Egypt and Sudan he deemed the perfect piece of property for his daughter’s kingdom.

And although purchasing a piece of territory officially involves a ton of legal hoops to jump through, Heaton even traveled to the spot and raised a flag designed by his children in honor of his little princess’s reign, proving he would literally “go to the ends of the earth to make their wishes and dreams come true.”

Hopefully he doesn’t remember that a little girl’s wishes can change from week to week after all that effort, but when it comes to a man keeping his word, we couldn’t be more supportive of this dad’s decision.
