Johnson City students and BCC are working together in attempt to understand and create a better community. BCC's Civic Engagement Center is in cahoots with 24 fourth and fifth-graders, meeting every Tuesday in the K-8 Intermediate building, to raise money for important causes like autism and community restoration. Recently, they corresponded with FEMA to speed up repairs on Green Field. In their charitable efforts, they're hoping to promote a message of good will. The group is holding a fair on May 4th in Ostiningo Park to raise money.
