After this high school student was bullied, hundreds of people did something amazing for him.

Halsey Parkerson was having lunch with his aunt in Salem, Oregon when she heard other kids bully him. One of the kids said that Halsey didn’t have any friends and that nobody liked him. When his aunt asked what that was about, he replied that it wasn’t the first time. He was bullied all the time.

Well, Halsey’s aunt decided to do something about it and prove the bully wrong. So when she got home, she got on Facebook and started contacting people. And the next day, she showed up at Halsey’s school with about a hundred other people, who literally stood behind him while Halsey confronted the bully including someone who’d driven from Vancouver in Canada–over 350 miles away.

In the end, the bully apologized, admitted he was wrong, and actually high-fived Halsey. Apparently the local news was told about it before the meeting went down, so they also showed up and got it all on tape.

The principal of Halsey’s school didn’t know what was going on when he saw about 50 cars show up in the parking lot. But when he found out why they were there, he let it happen.

Halsey described the outpouring of love as "glorious." He said the next time someone tries to bully him, he'll hold his head high, and tell them he has too many friends to waste time worrying about what an idiot has to say about him.
