This weekend's co-host on Country Countdown USA, Sunday night at 7 is Lee Brice!   Lee took home ACM Single of the Year for "I Don't Dance" at last week's 50th annual ACM Awards in Dallas and this weekend he's on the Hawk!

Lee had this to say about the song: "It's kind of the wedding thing.  It happens a lot.  It happened the other day.  I looked down the other day, and saw all these people pointing to this area, and there was this couple who'd just got engaged.  So I had the whole place sing to them.  Those are cool moments in someone's life, because hopefully it only happens once!"

Lee had his own thrill of a lifetime a few months ago in Boston, where he got the chance to sing with his musical hero Garth Brooks.  Lee wrote "More Than a Memory" for Garth in 2007.  But he's never actually seen Garth perform the song.  He shared the entire experience of that day with Country Countdown USA host Lon Helton.

Lee has a little college football rivalry with Darius Rucker.  Darius is a fan of the University of South Carolina, while Lee played football for nearby Clemson.  Lee told Lon he now shares some space formerly occupied by Darius: "I had to add some people to my crew, and I had to get another bus.  I had to get my own bus, and it used to be Darius' bus.  This bus has five TVs in it. Apparently he really liked to watch his sports.

On the homefront, Lee has two sons: Takoda & 16-month-old Ryker.  Lee says his baby boy is walking: "He's getting around like crazy.  He just went from crawling to walking.  Ryker's got his mama's Italian spunk about him.  Takoda is 6 years old, and he plays with his little brother.  He helps with him and teaches him, I never expected a 6 year old to be that mature, he just loves him so much, it's an amazing thing.  Best thing ever!"

Lee also has great stories Sunday night about Frankie Ballard, Tyler Farr, Luke Bryan, Chris Young, and Brad Paisley.
