1. Sell Items in Facebook Garage Sale Groups

Having a garage sale works! You can gather all your stuff and put it on tables and wait outside for a week for people to stop and poke through it all. or search Facebook for "garage sale group" or "yardsale group," and look for groups in the Southern Tier. You'll probably find at least one public group of people who are interested in buying and selling items like clothes, books, baby stuff and more.

Join the group and start listing your stuff.

Skip the garge sale and get a table at The Worlds Largest Yard Sale. You'll be showcasing your stuff directly to hundreds interested buyers without having to go through the typical garage sale steps of putting it in the paper, tacking up signs and praying to the garage sale gods that people show up. You could even go to other peoples yard sales and buy their stuff, mark it up and resell it!
