5 Things You Probably Don’t Know About Kristian Bush

You know those TV commercials with the dog who get this close to giving up the secret family recipe for the perfect beans but is always stopped last minute? Yep, Kristian Bush is related. Not to the dog, but to the Bush's Best Baked Beans people! Kristian's great-grandpa, A.J. Bush was the founder of Bush Brothers and Company.

Here are some other interesting facts you might not know about Kristian Bush:

• Kristian was born in Knoxville, but raised in Sevierville which just so happens to be the hometown of Dolly Parton.

• In an interview with Oprah, Kristian admitted he actually can't stand Bush's Baked Beans.

• Kristian's brother Brandon plays keyboards for the band Train.

• In 1990, Kristian formed the band Billy Pilgrim with Andrew Hyra who is Meg Ryan's brother. The band was named for the main character in Kurt Vonnegut's 'Slaughterhouse-Five.'

• In the 1970's there was a big feud in the Bush family and one side of the family had to sell of their portion of the business. Kristian's family has never let go of the fact that the family business won't be passed down to the next generation.
