Buying property in the Binghamton area can be very reasonable.  Just ask people that move here from various cities in the US.  The Greater Binghamton area can be very appealing to people that relocate from places like Long Island, Orlando and San Francisco.  What we may consider expensive, can be construed as affordable or cheap to others. The truth is, a $100,000 home in Windsor or Port Crane could go for a million or more on the West coast.  One thing for sure, it's a buyers market for people house hunting in the Binghamton area.
