Someone needs to tell the world about Nirchi's breakfast pizza. Like yesterday.

All I could do was shake my head when I read a headline in an article shared by Vice that stated, "7-Eleven Wants to Make “Breakfast Pizza” a Thing (and It’s Working)"

Breakfast pizza is a thing and it has been working for well over a dozen years in Binghamton, New York.

I know it's easy to overlook us as you zoom past on Route 17 as you're headed to New York City or to Syracuse, but we don't bite, and we just so happen to have some of the most delicious food around.

If 7-Eleven is looking for pro tips on how to make sure that their breakfast pizza really is a huge success, they might want to reach out to Nirchi's because Nirchi's has been doing the breakfast pizza thing, and doing it incredibly well, for years.

I'd never even heard of breakfast pizza before I lived in Binghamton and I'll never forget how delicious that first slice was. There's a Nirchi's a block away from the station, and yet I've not taken advantage of it and bought a breakfast pie and I don't know why because I've thought about their breakfast pizza several times over the years.

If you're wondering why everyone is all like "oh, 7-Eleven, you're so amazing for introducing a breakfast pizza," it might have something to do with what they're topping the dough with. The 7-Eleven breakfast pizza features a biscuit crust, topped with smoked bacon, sausage, hickory smoked ham, scrambled eggs, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese. Oh, and it comes smothered in a peppered cream gravy, Nirchi's breakfast pizza doesn't. But maybe this will nudge them to give it a try? If you're going to eat pizza for breakfast, might as well go all out and give the arteries a good jolt, right?

How about it, Nirchi's? Can we talk you into trying out a gravy on your breakfast pizza? I'd gladly be a taste tester.
