But guess what? National Caregivers Day is going to be here this Friday, February 21st, and Broome County has something special planned just for those who look after others. On Tuesday, February 25th at 2 pm, Christina Muscatello from Memory Maker Project is hosting a winter blues painting workshop at the Roberson Museum and Science Center.

It is specifically designed for caregivers. So if you've ever felt like you needed a way to express yourself, this workshop is just the thing for you. It has it all: A comfortable setting, a canvas, some brushes, and a whole lot of inspiration.

The workshop will focus on still life objects that are about what helps caregivers get through the dark days of winter. There will be sharing of stories, ideas, and thoughts that you can put into your artwork. It's all about letting your creativity flow and expressing yourself in a wonderful and meaningful way.

Christina has been helping seniors dealing with memory loss through art for almost two decades. She's all about bringing joy to older adults, making new memories, and looking back at the past through art. So you know you'll be in good hands during this workshop.

If you're interested in joining this event, mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 25th at 2 p.m. Give the Broome County Office for Aging a call at 607-778-2411 to register to be part of it.
