Canadian songstress Terri Clark may have been off the U.S. radar for a while, but she is still going strong North of the border. She regularly tours and releases albums, including 2011's Roots & Wings.

Terri Clark burst onto the Country music scene with her debut and top 5 single "Better Things To Do."  Her brassy and blunt style quickly garnered her many fans and she returned that support with a flurry of hits like "If I Were You", When Boy meets Girl" and  , "Poor Poor Pitiful Me." "If I Were You" was Terri's first number 1 hit.

Canada loves traditional sounding Country, so she has remained one of their hottest artists. Terri is currently being nominated for Canada's Walk of Fame.

She's back with a brand new album in the United States, paying tribute to the biggest classic Country songs. "Classic" was released this past Tuesday and features a newly released single of "Golden Ring" (made famous by Tammy Wynette and George Jones) with Dierks Bentley! You can listen below. Other contributors include Reba McEntire, who remains a close friend of Terri's, and Tanya Tucker.

Though Terri does tour extensively, she hasn't made it to the US recently. I am thinking it's soon time for an appearance. Terri has never left Country, but I think she was left by us in the U.S.. Sad, because she is immensely talented and is one of my favorite ladies of Country. For more on Terri Clark, visit her official website here.
