What You Need To Know Before Attending The Dick’s Sporting Goods Open
Sometimes we overlook the fact that the Binghamton area has so much to offer, both as a great place to live, but a great place to work, play and have so many entertainment opportunities to take advantage of.
And this week is another example. It's the Dick's Sporting Goods Open, and it's been one of the most popular events to happen in the Southern Tier. It's exciting to have a tournament with many great professional golfers converging at En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott. This is the 50th year of professional golf at En-Joie.
If you have plans to attend here are some things to keep in mind before you go according to the Dick's Sporting Goods Open website. If you bring an umbrella, collapsible chair, binoculars, seat cushions or anything that has a bag or case, you can't bring in that bag or case. You can bring in your mobile phone or tablet, but they must be set on silence at all times. No containers unless it's for medical or infant needs. Check out the Dick's Sporting Goods Open website for complete details, rules and facts.
Some fun things to look forward to include:
The Sock Out Cancer Day on Friday June 2nd.
The concert featuring Old Dominion on Friday June 2nd.
The Heart and Soul 5K to be held on Saturday July 3rd beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The Family Fun Night with concessions a a movie beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The the annual Sunrise Yoga beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday July 4th.
We're excited for the tournament again this year, and if you are attending, have a great time being a part of one of the most exciting events to come to the Binghamton area.
