Wendy’s Walk for Kids is Sunday at The Dick’s Sporting Goods Open

The Dick's Sporting Goods Open is this weekend.  The best legendary golfers are coming to the Southern Tier.  Tim McGraw is going to perform Friday night after golf is done and the 5th annual Wendy's Walk for Kids will wrap up a wonderful weekend at En-Joie Golf course on Sunday afternoon.  You still have time to participate in the Walk!

Last year, they raised over $190,000 for their charity partners. This year's goal is 1,000 walkers and raising $225,000 to be distributed to The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, Handicapped Children's Association, Broome County Urban League and Mom's House.

You can walk by yourself, with friends or with a group.  You can also join one of the Wendy's Walk for Kids team.  Kids can go here to join this team. Adults can join the "Circle of Friends" team by going here.  They even have a Grandparents walking for Kids team, go here to join them.
