The switch from October to November doesn’t seem like it should be such a big deal, but believe it or not, it actually is.

The World Series is over, which means baseball season is over. Halloween is over, which means it’s time to brace ourselves for Thanksgiving season.

And, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is over. No more pink stuff all over the football field during NFL games. Instead, keep an eye out for guys growing some pretty epic beards and mustaches to raise awareness for prostate cancer, which is essentially the male equivalent of breast cancer.

The Movember Foundation, which is behind this campaign, is actually a 21-country charity that raises millions of dollars each year to fight what it calls a “hidden men’s health crisis.”

So, set aside the razor and bold and grow that 'stache. It’s all for a good cause!
