Free Screenings and Affordable Immunizations for New Yorkers

Hey there, New York State residents, are you looking to start 2025 on a healthier note? Of course, we all are and Walmart is coming to the rescue.. They have your back with their upcoming Wellness Day on Saturday, January 11th  from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It's time to make your health a priority and take care of yourself and your well-being. Take advantage of the free screenings and affordable immunizations that Walmart is offering at nearly 4,600 pharmacies nationwide.

You can get checked for glucose, cholesterol, body mass index, blood pressure, and even grab vaccines for flu, COVID-19, HPV, measles, mumps, and more, without breaking the bank. Some locations will even have vision screenings, giveaways, and product demonstrations too.

Kevin Host, Walmart's senior vice president of pharmacy, knows the importance of starting the new year right by focusing on health goals. The Wellness Day events is a way to provide an affordable way for customers to stay healthy while getting to know Walmart's pharmacy team.

Families can talk with their pharmacists about different health topics like healthy living tips, medication advice, and health needs for women planning or thinking about getting pregnant. The pharmacists will talk about everything from nutrition guidelines during pregnancy to the significance of folic acid for a baby's development.
