Unless you aren't on social media or your name is Glenn Pitcher, you've probably heard the story of the guy kicked in the head by a train conductor in a passing train while he stood to the side of some train tracks.

If you missed the story, Jared Michael Frank is the name of the guy and he, for whatever reason, decided to take a selfie as a train was passing by. To say things didn't go as Jared expected would be an understatement. Watch what went down (not graphic, but might not be suitable for small children):

It turns out there is a silver lining to getting kicked in the head by a train conductor. Jared  uploaded his video to Youtube and already it's had over 24 million views.

California-based Junkin Media reached out to Jared and offer to hook him up with some dough in exchange for use of his video. "I got all these different offers ... and they were all legit," the 22-year-old said. Jared 's video could earn anywhere from $2 to $16 for every 1,000 views, and Jared will get 70%. There are also potential licensing opportunities. Jared says he'll use the money to go to film school.

According to CBC, YouTube's official monthly figures haven't been totaled up yet, but Jared could bank anywhere from $30,000 to $250,000.

Oh, and if you're wondering- Jared says that he realizes the whole thing wasn't exactly a genius idea to begin with.
