Vintage Race Weekend at Watkins Glen

This weekend marks the return of vintage race cars to Watkins Glen. Billed as "one of the largest vintage racing events in the nation, historic race cars from almost every era return to Watkins Glen International to celebrate its legendary history for the Glenora U.S. Vintage Grand Prix this Friday thru Sunday."

Gates open each day at 7am with practice rounds 8am-11:45am. Qualifying begins Friday at 1:45pm, Saturday at 8am with races Saturday at 10:40am thru 6:25pm.

With almost every era represented, fans come together to help Watkins Glen International celebrate its' legendary history all weekend.  Tickets are priced at $35-$65 and free for ages 19 and under.  As of this writing, the weather is looking perfect for a road trip to Watkins Glen for the Glenora U.S. Vintage Grand Prix.
