Tragedy set out in Lancaster, PA when a massive fire started at one family's property. An Amish man's barn started on fire and his pet dog was nowhere to be found. One firefighter was told a black lab could possibly be in the barn and, even though it was extremely dangerous, he decided he needed to go in and save the dog.

Firefighter Ryan Balmer’s helmet camera captured the entire rescue and then put it up on his fire department's website. You can hear the dog start barking and alerting Balmer where he is. He broke a window and found the dog.

Once we found the conditions that we did in that room, obviously the dog was still alive so I had to get him out,” Balmer said.
