VanDenburg To Sing With Smash-Hit Country Duo On AI Finale

A few short hours after Cohoes' Madison VanDenburg made it to the season finale of American Idol next Sunday night, details began unfolding about the upcoming 3-hour finale. Next Sunday night's show will feature some big performances and dream duets as the idol contestants have paired up with some of the biggest names in music.  It's being reported that our own Madison will be teamed up with the country duo that inspired her initial audition song.

According to MJsBigBlog.com, the 17-year-old will team up with country hit makers Dan + Shay, who topped the charts with number 1 songs Tequila and Speechless.  The latter being the song that Madison sang when she debuted on American Idol during the audition rounds back in March.

Other country performers set to take the stage include Luke Bryan, Jon Pardi, Kane Brown and Season 4 winner of American Idol, Carrie Underwood! It's going to be a star-studded  three-hour finale for the right to wear the Idol crown.

The show will air on WTEN channel 10 from  8pm-11pm.
