So during the Hawk Morning Show, Traci and I were talking about where they could take baby John trick-or-treating. One of the ideas, that was suggested was Trunk or Treat.

They seem to be very popular these days because it's a safe and fun place to go. Also, you don't have to walk far to get your next goodie.

The YMCA in Johnson City is having a Trunk or Treat on Saturday from 5 -7:30. It's at the West Family Branch at 740 Main Street in Johnson City. $1 for kids and adults are free.

You can even go inside the Y for activities in the pool and gym. They'll even have prizes for best costumes.

The YMCA is 'Strengthening the Foundation of our Community.' They are community based and they've been serving the community for over 150 years. Financial assistance is available.

My daughter, Riley used to play basketball at the Y and it was one of the most rewarding experiences for her. She still talks about her coach Chris and the positive influence that he had on my daughter as she was learning the game.

I thank him for the positive impact that he's had on her. To find out more about the YMCA of Broome County, go here.
