Town of Union Revises Recycling Schedule

The Town of Union is modifying its recycling schedule again. 

The Town had gone to a bi-weekly pickup with recyclables collected every-other week.  That, apparently, hasn’t been working out.  Friday, the Town announced it had been overwhelmed with materials and would start emptying recycle bins more frequently.

Town of Union residents who are not served by Village of Endicott or Johnson City collection will have their recyclables picked up weekly on Wednesdays starting this week.

The Wednesday collections will continue until further notice.

Again, the schedule does not affect collection in the Villages.
