Home Central stores in Candor and Owego have volunteered to be a mask donation center for the county.

Anyone who has made a mask to donate can drop them off to the Candor store on Owego Street and the Owego Store on Central Avenue during regular business hours, Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p-.m and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to be picked up by people who need one and can’t make a mask on their own.

Residents are asked to wash the mask before using it and also to practice social distancing when picking up a face covering.  Masks are available on a first-come, first-serve basis as they are available as donations come in.
