It's time to spring clean! Wait. It's summer. Never mind that, it's a technicality. Get in there and shovel that clutter to the gutter!   Well, garbage bags and a trip to the dump is preferable. If you take me literally, the town you live in is gonna have a problem with you leaving all your junk out in the street gutter. So just don't. Now that I've dropped that disclaimer on you, here are three ways having a dirty or cluttered place you call home is bad for your health

1.  It affects your sleep.  A study last year analyzed people's sleep patterns, and found the quality of your sleep is worse when your bedroom is a disater.

2.  It makes your allergies horrible.  If your place is unorganized and cluttered, then you're probably not dusting.  People who think they're allergic to pollen actually just need to clean and dust more.

3.  It makes it harder for you to focus on stuff.  A study in 2011 found that when there's too much schtuff lying around, your thinker can't decide what to focus on because there's too much visual stimulis.  So it makes it harder for you to focus on anything.
