Technology has come a long way over the last 10 years, but there have big some big flops over the past decade as well. Companies hype their products and sometimes it turns out to be just that, hype.

I always laugh when people rush out to buy the newest gadgets as soon as they hit the market. I guess it makes them feel cool to be the first ones on the block with the new toy. Remember when people used to camp out in front of stores to get the new iPhone the day it was released?

I have better things to do with my time. I don't need to be the first to get the biggest and supposedly the best electronics. As a matter fact, as long as my phone is working. I'm happy with it. When it comes to gadgets such as cell phones and other electronic devices I would rather wait until they're on the market for a while and then read the reviews so I don't get stuck paying for a dud.

Gizmodo recently released their most disappointing gadgets of the last decade. Some of these gadgets I never even heard of, and then others we're all over the news including the Samsung Note 7 back in 2016. That was the phone that would explode and start fires.

They were the glasses that had the built-in computer inside them back in 2013. Do you know anybody that purchase that product? Me neither.
