Winter is here in the Southern Tier and you think that nothing is really going on with the Binghamton Zoo. Well, you would be WRONG. Spend part of your Valentine's Day weekend (2/16 & 2/17) with "Courtship Tails" and the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park. Find out more about this unique event here.

They also have officially opened registration for the red panda Wild Encounters. It's an exclusive encounter that let's you get up close with the red pandas You and the zookeeper will have the chance to give the red pandas an enrichment item and a whole lot more.

It's only $350 for 3 people with up to 2 additional people for $25 each. This event is only available on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday from February 21st to April 14th. 10% of your Wild Encounter admission will be added to the Binghamton Zoo's Global Conservation Fund.
