I am so filled with thanks and want to publically express my gratitude to the Binghamton Senators and to B-Sens players, Casey Bailey and Chris Rumble, who gave up their Monday afternoon to help spread cheer and smiles to local kids who are going through some rough times.

I also want to say a big thank you to each and every Binghamton Senator fan who brought a stuffed animal to the game last Saturday night for the Teddy Bear Toss. Only because of you was it possible for us to share happiness with local kids this Christmas season.

On Monday afternoon, Casey Bailey, Chris Rumble, Rich Birdsall and I dropped off stuffed animals at various locations around the Greater Binghamton area, including the Children's Home of Wyoming Conference in Hillcrest and at the children's ward at Wilson Hospital.

My daughter Riley, and niece, Braedyn were Santa's (Senator's) helpers as we made our deliveries, so it was a special day all the way around.

The Binghamton Senators are hosting a career fair from 11am-3pm today. Stop by, submit your resume, and you'll be given two free tickets for tonight's game against the St. John's IceCaps with faceoff at 7:05pm.

I'll be doing Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd period. See ya there.

Special thanks to Traci Taylor for her help writing this article. She is my article editor, my bran muffin, my sanity.
